FAQ
Common questions about the QXel simulator.
How many qubits can I simulate?
On a single node, conventional simulators reach 30 to 35 qubits. QXel's secondary-storage offloading pushes that to 42 qubits. For larger circuits, use distributed (multi-node) simulation.
Which framework should I use?
Use whichever you already know. All three call into the same QXel engine. • Qiskit: most tutorials and textbooks use it, so it is easiest if you're new. • PennyLane: a strong fit for quantum machine learning and variational algorithms. • Amazon Braket: the fewest abstractions, and best for passing QXel-specific options like compute_type or offload_type.
